Jersey Four Enjoy Trip

The Jersey Four, Brian Cushing, Darius Mann, Brian Roche and Corey Wootton talked to on Sunday afternoon about their visits to Louisville.

The much anticipated trip by four New Jersey prospects, Brian Cushing, Brian Roche, Corey Wootton and U of L commit Darius Mann has left a strong impression with each as they prepared to head back to the Garden State.

"It felt like home, I didn't want to leave," said Mann on Sunday afternoon.

While Mann is the only of the four that is committed, the others felt nearly as impressed.

"It was pretty cool," said 5-star prospect Brian Cushing. "It was cool to hear my name being yelled out by the students and to see some signs with our names on it."

4-star offensive line prospect Brian Roche agreed.

"I saw some signs with my name it...that was cool."

All agreed that the atmosphere at the basketball game against Kentucky, as well as the facilities and watching the team practice were all positives.

"They get after it, just like we do at our school," said tight end Corey Wootton of the U of L practice session on Sunday. "It's real high tempo and I liked it."

"They get intense in practice," added Mann. "They never stop going and everyone gets excited for practice."

"The facilities were great and with them adding an indoor facility is even better," said Cushing.

While none of the three uncommitted prospects made a decision while at U of L, they all mentioned that the Cardinals are high on their list.

"This is the best visit I've had," explained Cushing, who has made numerous unofficial visits. "It's a team headed in the right direction. They are definately up there."

"To see how powerful the offense is was great," Roche said. "I could see myself apart of that, but I want to take my other visits before deciding. I did get everything that I wanted out of this visit."

"I'm still pretty much wide open, but I really like Louisville," Wootton explained.
