"I'm coming up to Louisville this Friday for my official visit," Marks said on Sunday.
However, Marks is quick to admit that college football and the recruiting process is new to him.
"I started playing football in the 8th grade, but I never really followed college football," explained Marks. "I don't have a favorite team or anything, so I need to take all of my visits to getter a better idea of what's out there."
With the recent recruiting dead period over, Marks began receiving phone calls on Sunday and is anticipating in-home visits from a number of programs this week.
"South Carolina, Memphis and Louisiana-Lafayette will all be coming to my house this week," Marks said.
While programs such as South Carolina may continue to try to make a late push for Marks, he has developed a list of favorites.
"I'd say that West Virginia, Memphis, Louisville, Southern Miss and Auburn are my favorites," said Marks, who has offers from WVU, U of L and USM. "Louisville is one of my top choices because they are moving to the Big East and get a chance for a BCS bowl."
