Williams is expected to be on campus and begin classes next week for the beginning of the spring semester. He's also expected to particate during spring practice for the Cardinals this spring.
According to Gasparro, Williams letter of intent is the only binding committment U of L currently has from junior college transfers.
That means that Williams' teammate, four-star linebacker Nate Harris, has not signed a national letter of intent with U of L. Harris, who verbally committed to U of L and cancelled his other scheduled official visits this fall could sign his LOI next month during the national signing period. By doing so, Harris would enroll at U of L next fall.
Additionally 6-6, 320-pound offensive lineman Marcus Gordon, a junior college prospect who also has verbally committed to U of L, has not signed a national letter of intent but could also do so next month.
