Like his older brother, Maurice is a tall receiver, that runs crisp routes and has great hands. The idea of playing on the same receiving unit with his brother is one that sounds more likely as National Signing Day approaches.
"I'd really like that idea," said the 6-foot-5, 185-pound Urrutia. "We would both eventually start and that would give the team two tall and tough guys to throw to."
While he has yet to schedule any official visits, Urrutia does plan on sitting down and talking with U of L head coach Bobby Petrino in the near future.
"I'm supposed to go see Coach Petrino and talk to him," explained Urrutia. "I'll call him this week if they don't call first."
Even with continued from other programs continuing to grow, the hometown school seems to have developed into a strong leader for his services.
"I'm leaning more and more everyday towards Louisville," continued Urrutia. "That's probably where I'll go."
Urrutia was ranked 10th in the state in Scout.com's postseason rankings of Kentucky's top prospects
