"I committed today when I met with Coach Petrino, Coach Whitt and Coach Nord," Garr explained. "They were happy I made the decision to come there."
While the U of L campus and football facility wasn't a new experience for Garr, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound defensive back was still impressed by the experience.
"It was a great visit," Garr said. "I've been there a lot so nothing was new to me. I liked how everything was always on time the entire time."
Garr also mentioned that it wasn't necessarily the reason that he chose to commit to Louisville.
"I like the direction of the program," continued Garr. "They are on pace to win a national championship and think they might next year and I want to be apart of that. I couldn't do that at some of the others that were recruiting me."
Garr will be spending much of his winter and spring participating on Male's track team before turning his attention to his preparation for fall practice.
