Rocker likes direction of UofL program

Running back Dominique Rocker of Tavares (FL) High School has now visited Iowa State and Louisville and has trips to South Florida and Central Florida remaining, so the 6-foot-2, 215-pound back isn't ready to claim a true leader for his services.

"I can't have a leader right now because I still have a couple visits left," Rocker explained on Sunday. "I'm going to USF next week and then UCF the weekend after that. Then I'll be able to compare them all better."

While Rocker isn't claiming a leader, he was impressed by his time spent at Louisville over the weekend.

"My visit went pretty good, I had a lot of fun," said Rocker. "I really like the direction of the program. They are really looking forward to next season."

Rocker, who rushed for over 1,000 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior, also visited with U of L head coach Bobby Petrino on Sunday morning.

"He's a nice guy," Rocker said of Petrino. "He was telling me how I could be the kind of guy that could fill in for Eric Shelton who is going to the NFL."

With National Signing Day less than a month away, Rocker will receive a visit from U of L in a few weeks.

"Coach [Bobby] Petrino is coming down to visit me in a couple weeks," Rocker said.
