DL Marks gives Louisville visit high 'marks'

Sen'Derrick Marks, a 6-2, 270-pound defensive lineman from Mobile, Alabama, gave high marks for his weekend visit to the Univeristy of Louisville.

Mobile, AL defensive line prospect Sen'Derrick Marks took this weekend to spend one of his five official visits. Where did he go?

"I went up to Louisville. I liked it a lot. I'd give it about a 9," Sen'Derrick Marks said.

What stood out most about the Cardinals?

"I like it because it's a University and then it's a city. It's a college town, but it's not all about the college. There's a lot of other stuff to do.

Marks spent some time with the Louisville staff during his visit.

"I talked to Coach Petrino and some of the other coaches. They talked to us like we were getting ready for a game and he got me all excited. We went and put on the Louisville jersey and I was almost ready to go play man!"

Who remains on his list now?

"I like West Virginia, Louisville, Southern Miss, Memphis and Auburn. Every one of those but Memphis and Auburn have offered. I can't give any leaders yet because I haven't been to all the campuses."

What visits does he have upcoming?

"I'm supposed to go to Southern Miss this weekend, but I don't think I'll be able to make it so I'm going so reschedule it. I go to Memphis on the 21st and Auburn on the 29th."

What is he seeking in the school of his choice?

"I'm looking at the education, the football program and the stability of the coaches."
