Forbes had "great time" in Louisville

A number of highly sought after prospects remain on the Louisville coaches radar, especially those that can contribute along the Cardinals defensive line. One such prospect is Antonio Forbes who made an official visit to U of L this past weekend.

"It was a nice visit," Forbes explained. "I had a great time from the moment I started my visit."

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive lineman has previously made official visits to Arkansas and Alabama and has scheduled remaining visits with Oklahoma and Florida State.

"My visits to Arkansas and Louisville were pretty much the same, but there's more to do in Louisville because it's a bigger city," said Forbes, who lives in suburban Atlanta. "I'm a city boy, so that's important for me."

With two visits remaining, Forbes isn't ready to start claiming a leader.

"I've narrowed it down some," explained the Gwinnett County Defensive Player of the Year. "I'm looking at Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Florida State and Louisville."

Forbes, who recorded 12 sacks and forced 5 fumbles as a senior, says that he is planning on announcing his decision on National Signing Day.

"I'm going to do it on signing day and I might just shock the world," Forbes said.

NOTE: Forbes was joined on his official visit by his Meadowcreek High School teammate, defensive lineman Kelvin Quarles. Quarles was an All-County honorable mention selection as a senior.
