Source: Heyman Commits to the Cardinals

According to Conan Gasque of PalmettoSports.com Ballard's, Earl Heyman has decided to play for Bobby Petrino and the Lousiville Cardinals.

Bobby Petrino continues to pull in the states best players. Two years ago he reeled in Mike Bush, last year Brian Brohm, and he recieved a commitment from Ballard High School's Earl Heyman.

According to Conan Gasque of PalmettoSports.com, DE Earl Heyman (6-4 260) committed to Louisville after visiting the Cardinals this past weekend.

Heyman told Gasque that the direction of the program is one of the primary reasons he'll be a Cardinal.

"My visit was great," he said. "I liked everything so much I just decided to go ahead and stay close to home," he said.

Heyman was the tope vote getter on the Courier Journals All-State team and was also a player in the U.S. Army's All American game.
