Cottman all but signed, sealed and delivered?

6 foot 3 Rahmir Cottman, a talented wide receiver from Red Bank, New Jersey, was all set to commit to the North Carolina Tar Heels. But when things didn't work out for Cottman with the Heels, he quickly turned his attention to Louisville. Is the two-star prospect all but signed, sealed and delivered to the Cardinals?

Rahmir Cottman of Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic has been sent on quite a ride the past few months with interest from schools coming and going. Regardless, the 6-foot-3, 170-pound wide receiver has weathered the storm with two schools still in the mix.

"Right now I'm talking to Louisville and North Carolina still," explained Cottman. "I talk to them every couple of weeks, so I keep in contact."

One ride that has been the bumpiest and most unpredictable is that with the Tar Heels. Cottman has been high on the Heels for a while now and wanted to commit a few months back, but things have since gone down hill.

"Stuff has been kind of crazy at UNC," stated Cottman. "A couple of coaches went to other schools, so. They still have an offer for me. They are waiting for me to get declared [eligible], because I needed an SAT score. I just took my SAT."

Regardless, Cottman is now focusing his interest on Louisville. He was all set to officially visit the Cardinals this weekend, but a test will prevent the trip from happening.

If everything goes as planned, the two-star prospect will be faxing his Letter of Intent to Coach Bobby Petrino in a week.

"I'll be signing on Signing Day though," remarked Cottman. "I think, most likely, probably Louisville. I just like the offense and like their whole system. They're a pretty good school."

Cottman recorded 39 catches for 839 yards and nine touchdowns during his senior season.
