Louisville rose three spots in this week's Associated Press poll - from No. 9 to No. 6 - following last victories over No. 25 Charlotte and DePaul to earn their first regular-season Conference USA title and a No. 1 seed in this week's Kelly Tires C-USA Tournament in Memphis, TN.

The Cardinals are one of the nation's hottest teams, having won 15 of their past 16 games. They'll face either TCU or Marquette in the quarterfinals of the C-USA Tournament this Thursday.

Charlotte slid seven spots following two losses last week to Louisville and South Florida - from No. 18 to No. 25, while C-USA member Cincinnati moved up to No. 21.

Collectively, the Cardinals are 3-1 against Top 25 teams this season.

Undefeated Illinois remains No. 1 for the 14th straight week, while North Carolina stayed put at No. 2.
