Steven Singleton, a 6-foot-3, 293-pound offensive lineman from Buford, Georgia, is starting to see his recruitment pick up. He's getting considerable interest from two Big East programs, and sounds intrigued about the University of Louisville. In fact, he's planned a trip to Louisville this summer.
is a 6-foot-3, 293-pound offensive line prospect out of Buford (GA) High School, and he's starting to pick up more and more attention from recruiters as we head toward the summer months. Could that first offer be around the corner?
"I'm getting a lot of stuff from Ole Miss and Louisville. They've been sending me a whole bunch of stuff lately," Steven Singleton said.
Which schools are his favorites at this time?
"Lately my direction has been changing. I really like Tennessee but they haven't been sending me much stuff. I've really been getting in to Louisville and West Virginia lately."
What stands out about the Cardinals and the Mountaineers?
"My coach has been telling me it's a nice place and they're really coming up," Singleton said of Louisville.
"Their offensive line coach is very good and Thor Merrow's dad tells me that it's a really good place to be," he said of West Virginia.
What is he seeking in a school?
"I just want a school that's hard nosed and plays hard. A place that has good chemistry. When you're out there, that's your family, that's your brother."
Steven has a couple of camps picked out for this summer.
"I'll be at the Scout.com Combine in Auburn this weekend. I'm going to camp at Louisville and a Middle Georgia camp as well. I was supposed to go to West Virginia but I'm having a scheduling conflict. If they get another date, I'll go there too."
