Cards join race for Josh Minton

Defesive lineman Josh Minton of Pulaski Southwestern (KY) High School has added two more offers to his list, including one that some expected to arrive weeks ago.

A week ago, defensive end Josh Minton spoke with InsidetheVille.com about the list of impressive scholarship offers that he was quickly collecting. He described the experience thus far as shocking.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Minton had collected written offers Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan State, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, Purdue, Virginia Tech and Western Kentucky as of late last week and spoke about the abscence of an offer from the Cardinals coaching staff.

"I really like the coaching staff there," Minton explained a week ago. "I don't know why that haven't offered yet, but if they were to offer it would definately turn my head."

Consider his head now turned, as Pulaski Southwestern head coach Dale Anderson has informed ITV that a written offer from Louisville, as well as one from NC State, arrived on Thursday.

Minton, who plans on camping at Virginia Tech and Florida, will participate in 7-on-7 passing league's at Louisville, Kentucky and possibly Vanderbilt.
