That will change this weekend when Sosa arrives in Louisville to attend Rick Pitino's individual instruction camp.
"I'm looking forward to coming down for the camp and running with the guys," said Sosa. "I have my last final Friday afternoon, so I won't be in Louisville for the camp until Saturday."
Sosa has quickly climbed the recruiting charts this spring. Currently ranked the nation's No. 33 prospect overall by Scout.com, the multi-talented guard led his AAU team - the New York Guachos - to the title in Dallas, TX, and most recently, was named to the prestigious IS8 First Team - New York's top spring league.
Two weeks ago, Sosa led his AAU team deep into the Nike Memorial Day Classic in New Orleans, La., before falling in the tournament's quarterfinals.
"I did real well, but we lost to the D.C. Blue Devils in the quarterfinals," Sosa said. "I averaged about 18-20 points for the tournament."
Academically, Sosa said his junior year was a successful one.
"It went pretty good," Sosa said. "My grade point average wasn't as high as it was last year, but I plan to improve it next year."
A teammate of 6-foot-9 standout forward Curtis Kelly, Sosa said his accomplished friend, who also lists Louisville among his favorites, won't accompany him this weekend to U of L's camp.
"I don't think he's coming," Sosa said. "I think he's going to take a visit this weekend, but I don't know which school."
