St. X star Anderson gets U of L offer

Victor Anderson started drawing heavy interest from programs throughout the country after rushing for 1,035 yards for State Champion St. Xavier last fall as just a sophomore. The standout running back visited with Inside The Ville at Male High School's 7-on-7 passing tournament on Saturday afternoon and said that he now has a scholarship offer from two Big East Conference powers.

St. Xavier running back Victor Anderson has had a busy spring. While he will only be a junior in 2005, the 1,000-yard rusher participated at the U of L 7-on-7 passing tournament last weekend, has camped at West Virginia and was in action on Saturday afternoon at Louisville Male High School's 7-on-7 passing tournament.

Following his team's third contest, Anderson visited with Inside The Ville and said that despite having two years of high school ball remaining, that interest is already pouring in from football programs throughout the country and that he recently picked up his second scholarship offer.
