"I want to rush for at least 1,800 yards this year," the third team All-State selection said.
Despite the impressive stat line, Jones hasn't drawn too much attention to date. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound back chose not to attend many combines or camps - he may attend the upcoming Florida State camp - keeping him away from the eyes of numerous college coaches.
However, one school noticed him early on.
"I have one offer," Jones told InsidetheVille.com. "Louisville offered me early in the spring. I'm also hearing from UCF, Florida, Miami and South Florida."
While the offensive numbers draw the attention of coaches, it's his speed that has many of those coaches interested in possibly playing him on the defensive side of the ball as a defensive back.
"I'm an all-around type of player," said Jones. "I don't mind playing on either side of the ball. Just put me on the field and I'll play."
"I'm being recruited as either a running back or defensive back," he continued. "Most say that they could use me at either. I don't mind playing on either side of the ball."
Jones, who was also named one of the top ten running back prospects in the Sunshine State by the Orlando Sentinal, doesn't claim a current leader.
