The 6-foot-4, 299-pound Nagy visited numerous schools and participated in a number of camps throughout the spring and early summer, drawing scholarship offers from Louisville, Cincinnati, Illinois, Wisconsin and others.
"We're giving him the month of July to be a kid, so he's not talking to many people this month," said his father Bill Nagy, Sr. "We'll start back up on August 1st."
When next month arrives, Nagy anticipates making a few unofficial visits, with Illinois, Wisconsin and possibly Louisville on the itinerary.
"Louisville is one of his favorites," his father told Inside The Ville.
Nagy, who will climb a few spots in the new Scout.com ratings released in August, has indicated that a college decision will likely be made prior to Hudson's August 26th season opener.
"The plan is to make a commitment before the season," his father said.
