"It feels good," Vaughn told InsidetheVille.com of his visit and commitment to Louisville. "It definately went the way that I had hoped it would."
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound receiver will be required to sit out a season due NCAA transfer rules, but will have three years of playing eligibility remaining.
"It'll be tough to sit for the year, but there is a lot to learn with the offense, so it will give me time to get to know and be ready to go the next year," Vaughn said.
As a senior at St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Conn., Vaughn recorded 20 catches for 650 yards and 14 touchdowns. He was named the #1 prospect in New England by SuperPrep.com and was among the Top 100 receivers in the country by Scout.com.
The standout prospect will return to Louisville prior to the start of fall camp and will report with the Cardinals on August 5th.
"I'm looking forward to going there and helping the guys win a national championship."
