Commit #3: WR Troy Pascley 3-star receiver prospect told last week that he'd commit to Louisville should head coach Bobby Petrino decide to extend an offer. Following his visit Pascley spoke first with ITV and shared the news of his decision to commit. 3-star prospect Troy Pascley told late last week that he intended to commit to Louisville should Cardinal head coach Bobby Petrino extend a scholarship offer while on campus.

While spending the majority of Monday visiting U of L, Pascley received the news he had hoped for.

"My visit went great," Pascley told "Actually, it was really great. They offered me and I committed."

The 6-foot-2, 191-pound receiver from Alliance (OH) High School admitted that he was impressed by the school and the football facilities, but that his time watching the team conduct voluntary summer workouts inside Papa John's Cardinal Stadium is what left the biggest impression.

"We toured the campus and they showed me the dorm rooms," said Pascley, who was hosted by assistant coach Jeff Brohm. "The facilities were great and the weight room is huge. They also showed the new indoor facility and then I went out to watch the team work out some."

"I loved watching them," he continued. "Everything with them seems so polished. They look they have been playing together for years."

Pascley, who totaled 23 catches for over 500 yards as a junior, also strongly considered Michigan State and Cincinnati prior to committing to Louisville.

"I'm glad to have it out the way," he said of the recruiting process. "Now I can focus on my senior season."

He becomes the Cardinals third verbal commitment of the 2006 recruiting class, joining tight end Zach Meagher and running back Anthony Allen.
