A standout on both the gridiron and hardwood for the Panthers, Spillman apparently came up just short of the required Standardized Test score to play - or practice - this season for the Cardinals.
"JuJuan missed his test score by one-point and is enrolled at J.C.C. (Jefferson Community College)," one of Spillman's former high school coaches told Inside The Ville Thursday afternoon. "He'll take classes at J.C.C. this fall with intentions of enrolling at U of L the second semester."
Provided Spillman, who isn't listed in the U of L media guide, earns the necessary entrance scores while attending J.C.C. this fall and enrolls at U of L this spring, he'd essentially be what football types refer to as a "greyshirt," - leaving him five years to play four.
A member of the Kentucky High School All-Star team that beat Tennessee earlier this summer, Spillman was considered a three-star prospect by Scout.com last year as a senior. He chose Louisville over Kentucky.
