Louisville's Most Wanted

DuPont Manual's Aundre Henderson has the honor of being the top-rated prospect from the city of Louisville this year and he recently received an item in the mail letting him know just that.

Just a few weeks ago, during an unofficial visit to Louisville, 3-star defensive tackle prospect Aundre Henderson, of DuPont Manual High School, learned just how much that the U of L coaching staff wanted him to become a member of it's 2006 recruiting class.

"They told me that want to build their recruiting class around me and that says a lot about how much they want me," he said.

Earlier this week, the Cardinals coaching staff reiterated that message with a simple piece of mail.

"They sent Aundre a thing that mail that kind of surprised him, but he got a kick out of it," said the Scout.com South Hot 100 member's father.

According to the elder Henderson, the letter was simple, but to the point.

"On the top of it, it said, 'Louisville's Most Wanted'," he explained. "Then it had a picture of Aundre on it, with his weight, height and position. Below his picture it said, 'wanted for wreaking havoc on opposing offenses'."

While he currently claims a top five of Illinois, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota and Tennessee, the 6-foot-4, 295-pound prospect doesn't appear ready to eliminate anyone from consideration.

(Kentucky Offensive Coordinator) "Joker Phillips invited us to come up and visit for the U of L - UK basketball game, so we're going to do that," Aundre Henderson Sr. said. "We are also probably going to go up to Marshall for their basketball game against Kansas State."

Henderson indicated that a decision could come as early as Manual's first open weekend on September 23rd. He currently holds written scholarship offers from Boston College, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Michigan State, Minnesota and Tennessee.
