UofL likely to receive official visit from Stewart

Despite being unable to make a previously scheduled unofficial visit, 3-star safety prospect Darian Stewart of Lee (AL) High School told InsideTheVille.com that an official visit to Louisville is likely to happen.

Lee (AL) High School prospect Darian Stewart has remained constant with his list of favorites throughout the summer and with his senior season nearing it's opener, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound safety/receiver told InsideTheVille.com that nothing has occurred to make him change his mind.

"Auburn, Louisville and Tennessee - those are still my top three," said Stewart, who currently holds scholarship offers from Alabama, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall and UAB.

Stewart, who recorded 73 tackles and 5 interceptions, as well as 30 receptions for 800 yards and 13 touchdowns from his receiver spot as a junior, added that while he hasn't completely ruled out anyone, he is fairly certain of a few official visits that he plans to take later this year.

"I want to see what Louisville is like, because I've heard a lot about it, so I'll probably do one of my visits there," he said. "I'll probably take one to Tennnessee and Auburn too. I don't know about the rest."

As for his goals for his final year of high school? "Win state!"
