"I'm trying to get an official visit set up with Louisville and Georgia right now," he said on Monday. "I wasn't able to get ahold of the coaches today, so I'm going to get with my coach at school tomorrow to help me set them up."
In addition to Georgia and Louisville, Patrick added the in-state Florida Gators to his short list of favorites.
"It's Georgia, Louisville and Florida. I've already been to Florida three times, so I don't need to take an official visit there. After I take these visits I'll know where I'm going to go."
And, according to Patrick, another Scout.com 3-star prospect - defensive tackle Reggie Odom - will join him on the official visits.
"Reggie Odom is going to go on his official visits with me," said Patrick, who also added that it's a possibility that the two could commit to the same school. "Yeah it is. It would be good to have someone you know at the same place and I've known him my whole life."
Over the past two seasons, Patrick has hauled in 66 passes for 923 yards and 17 touchdowns. He began his senior year in strong fashion during a preseason game this past weekend.
"I only played about five minutes in each quarter because they wanted to keep me rested for our first game, but I had a real good game," he explained. "I had a few catches for about 30 yards and I also rushed once for 25 yards, but I did whatever I could to help the team win and that's the only thing that matters."
