'Peanut' will visit UofL for final home game

Rising Scout.com 4-star defensive end has scheduled two official visits, including one with Louisville for the Cardinals final home game of the year.

What was originally planned for this past weekend will take place later this year. Scout.com 4-star defensive end prospect Deantwan Whitehead told Inside The Ville on Monday that he'll make his official trip to the River City in November.

"It was supposed to be this past weekend, but we rescheduled so I could come up for one of their games," he exlained. "I'm going up there now on November 25th."

Whitehead will be on hand for the Cardinals final home game of the season, when Louisville faces BIG EAST foe Syracuse.

"I'm also going to visit Arkansas the first weekend in December," he continued. "I haven't really thought about what others I'm going to take yet."

However, despite the two set visits, 'Peanut' continues to remain open and doesn't claim a short list of favorites.

"I'm basically still looking at everybody," said the All-American candidate, who plans to announce his decision on signing day. "Right now I'm just trying to focus on the season and graduating."

This past weekend, the 6-foot-6, 245-pound defensive lineman recorded 12 tackles, including 5 for a loss and a sack.

In addition to Arkansas and Louisville, Whitehead is also considering scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and others.
