Corey Peters enjoys visit; names three leaders

Louisville Central High School defensive tackle Corey Peters took an unofficial visit with U of L on Saturday to watch the Cardinals home-opening win over Oregon State.

Louisville Central High School's Corey Peters has kept busy since the start of the football season, making previous unofficial visits to both Kentucky and Michigan and then this past Saturday at Louisville.

"It was good - I was impressed," Peters said on Sunday afternoon. "I talked to Coach Nord a little after the game."

Four games into his senior campaign, Peters who is currently leading Central in tackles and has recorded 3 sacks, has started to think about what school's that he'd like to make official visits with later in the year.

"I might visit Kentucky when they play Louisville in basketball (12/17), but I'm not sure yet," said the Scout.com 3-star defensive tackle. "I know I'm going to take visits to Auburn and Minnesota and maybe Louisville. I've been Louisville so much I don't know if I will, but I might."

The 6-foot-3, 280-pound interior lineman also said that three teams currently top his list of choices.

"I don't have one that leads, but you could say that Louisville, Kentucky and Auburn are all equal," he explained.

Peters helped his team beat North Bullitt on Friday and will visit an athletic and always dangerous PRP squad this weekend.
