"It was a lot of fun," said the nation's 18th best tight end. "That offense - they're awesome! They put 63 points on a good team."
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Meagher paid special attention to the play of current tight ends and was quick to mention the impressive touchdown reception - the Cardinal's first of the game - by sophomore Gary Barnidge.
"Barnidge had a real good catch for that first touchdown," he said. "He reached out and grabbed it with one hand."
Prior to the game, Barnidge spent a few moments visiting with Bobby Petrino and assistants Greg Nord, Mike Cassity and Reggie Johnson.
"That's the first time I've met Coach Johnson," he said. "I liked him. He's a really nice guy."
While he has yet to schedule his official visit, Meagher has plans to frequent Louisville throughout the fall.
"I plan on coming down to all the games," said Meagher, who chose Louisville over Ohio State, Oklahoma and a host of others. "I haven't figured out when I'm going to take [official visit], but I'm only going to take one and that will be to Louisville."
Meagher's Glen Este team has raced to a 4-0 start and will host Warren Hills this weekend.
