Earl Clark still not ready to make pick

6-8 guard/forward Earl Clark still hasn't made a college decision, but the Rahway, New Jersey native might be close to doing so.

Rumor has it that 6-8 guard/forward Earl Clark from Rahway, New Jersey has made his college decision.

But accorging to Scout.com's No. 21 ranked prospect nationally, he hasn't yet reached a decision whether he'll attend Louisville or Villanova - his two finalists - next fall. Asked Sunday night about the rumors, Clark said, "that's just a rumor, it's not true."

Clark made an official visit last weekend to Louisville and told Evan Daniels that he could announce his choice sometime this week.

If Clark picks Louisville, he would join an already solid recruiting class that includes 6-9 power forward Derrick Caracter of New Jersey, 6-2 point guard Edgar Sosa of New York and 6-3 guard Jerry Smith of Wisconsin.

"I like Louisville's style of play and I like the way Coach Pitino runs his team," said Clark.
