Sources: Clark will pick Cardinals over Wildcats

6-foot-8 forward Earl Clark will announce his college choice Tuesday afternoon at Rahway (NJ) High School, and Inside The Ville has multiple sources who have already confirmed what that decision will be.

According to multiple sources, Earl Clark, a 6-foot-7 1/2, 200-pound versatile senior from Rahway High (N.J.), will verbally commit to Louisville at a news conference Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Over the weekend, sources informed Inside The Ville that Clark had also decided to announce his intention to sign with the Cardinals during the November signing period. However, Clark chose not to confirm those reports when reached by Evan Daniels Sunday night.

Clark will announce his decision to play for the Cardinals at Rahway High School, and is expected to cite his desire to play for the "big name" program as the major reason he chose Louisville over Big East rival Villanova.

A multi-dimensional player capable of playing several different positions, Clark is ranked the No. 21 prospect nationally by Scout.com.

Rick Pitino's Cardinals already have verbal commitments from 6-9 Derrick Caracter of Elizabeth, NJ, 6-2 point guard Edgar Sosa from the Bronx, NY, and 6-3 shooting guard Jerry Smith from Wauwatosa, Wi.
