Martez Walker will make an unofficial visit to Louisville this weekend for the Cardinals game against North Carolina, and the 6-6, 210-pound sophomore from Birmingham is already hard at work preparing for the upcoming SAT's.

Martez Walker will make an unofficial visit to Louisville this weekend.

The 6-foot-6, 210-pound sophomore from Central Park Christian in Birmingham, Alabama will travel to Louisville with his father Larry and brother Marcus either Friday or Saturday this week.

Larry Walker told Inside The Ville Monday morning that the trio will attend the Cardinals football game against North Carolina Saturday afternoon at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. This visit will be Walker's first since to U of L since participating in Rick Pitino's basketball camp last June.

Walker, who verbally committed to Louisville last winter, is also gearing up to take the SAT for the first time this February.

"Martez is doing really well in school, particularly in Geometry," Larry Walker said. "I told Martez that the earlier he takes the test, the better. He's been taking the PSAT, and I think he'll do well on the test."

The Walker's also recently sold their home in Louisiana, and moved into a new home in the Birmingham suburbs close to Martez' school.
