Thomas cancels U of L visit; will reschedule

Latarrius Thomas, a talented wide receiver/safety prospect from Florida, cancelled his sceduled visits to both West Virginia and Louisville over the weekend. Should Mountaineer and Cardinal fans be worried?

Latarrius Thomas is a big wide receiver from New Smyrna Beach in Florida that has helped his team to a 6-1 record with 250 yards receiving and standout play on defense and special teams. He has had to reschedule two of his official visits, and he talks about his favorites.

"I'm up to about 13 offers right now," said Thomas. Kentucky was the latest school to offer me. Louisville, West Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi State, and Kentucky call me every week. I was scheduled to go to West Virginia this week, but I had to cancel. I had an official visit scheduled for Louisville for November 25th, but I cancelled it, because it's just too much to go on an official after playing a game on Friday night. I want to be fresh and alert when I take my visits."

Mountaineer and Cardinal fans shouldn't read much into his not visiting yet. He will.

"I will definitely reschedule my visits to Louisville and West Virginia. I also plan on visiting Florida. There are about six other schools that I'm looking at for my last two visits, but right now I'd say that Florida, Louisville, West Virginia and South Carolina are my favorites."

Thomas has his team sitting at 6-1 and in first place. He has 250 yards receiving and has returned four kickoffs for touchdowns thus far.
