Thomas gives Louisville visit high marks

Conrad Thomas, a 6-5, 330-pound offensive lineman from Douglasville, Georgia, gave his visit to Louisville high marks. Though he encountered some complications getting to Louisville this weekend, the two-star prospect still had an enjoyable visit. What's next for Thomas?

Even though Conrad Thomas arrived late for his official visit to the University of Louisville this weekend, the 6-5, 330-pound offensive lineman from Douglasville, Georgia still came away impressed by the Cardinals football program.

Thomas had trouble with his flight to Louisville Friday evening, and didn't arrive in Louisville until after midnight. He missed Friday night's dinner and the first night of his official visit. But the two-star prospect said he still enjoyed his visit.

"The visit went great," Thomas told InsideTheVille.com. "I saw everything on my visit, all the facilities. I also got to watch the team practice for their bowl game Saturday. It was real fast-paced. I liked the drills they were doing."

On a scale of 1-10, Thomas gave his visit to U of L high marks. "This was my first visit and I don't have anything to compare it to, but I'd give it a 9 or 10," he said.

Thomas was also impressed with Louisville's new in-door practice facility.

"I was real nice," Thomas said. "I wouldn't mind practicing in that."

"The kids in the program seemed like good people," Thomas said. "The guys on their official visits with me were all like me, all really good guys."

Thomas will make two other official visits before making his decision. He'll visit Memphis Jan. 13, and South Carolina Jan. 20.

"I hope to make a decision after the South Carolina visit," Thomas said. "Right now, everyone is even."
