Lumpkin changes mind about decision

Tennessee Mr. Football Ricky Lumpkin verbally committed to Kentucky last month. But after making an official visit to Louisville last weekend, Lumpkin has changed his mind about where he'll attend college next season.

Seperate sources have confirmed to Scout.com that Clarksville (Tn.) Kenwood HS defensive lineman Ricky Lumpkin has switched his commitment from the University of Kentucky to the University of Louisville.

Lumpkin verbally committed to Kentucky last month after making an official visit to Lexington. However, the 6-3, 250-pound Lumpkin made an official visit to Louisville last weekend where the Cardinals offered a scholarship.

Sources have told InsideTheVille.com that a Louisville assistant will visit Lumpkin today, presumably to finalize his decision.

Lumpkin's father, Ricky Lumpkin, Sr., informed InsideTheVille.com Wednesday night that his son would announce his decision shortly after that visit.
