Change of Plans for Orlando Misaalefua

Cardinal pledge will start looking at different opportunities

Fort Campbell (Ky) High School safety Orlando Misaalefua committed to Louisville in November, but a request to greyshirt the 2006 season has the 6-foot, 200-pounder now looking elsewhere.

"They came to my house and talked to my Dad & I about [greyshirting]," Misaalefua said on Thursday. "My coaches, my dad and I talked about it more today and we decided to look around."

The 1st Team All-State selection mentioned Ball State and Western Kentucky as possibilities. When asked if there is a chance that he could decide to remain with Louisville, he responded that he "probably would not."

As a senior, Misaalefua led his team with more then 130 tackles and was named the team's Defensive Player of the Year.
