After being found by the Cardinal coaches about two weeks ago, Wabby spent the weekend making an official visit with Louisville.
"It went great," Wabby said of his visit. "Matt Sanders was my host and he showed me around town. Their facilities are tremendous. We went to the basketball game on Saturday night and the atmosphere was unbelieveable - you couldn't ask for a better college atmostphere."
While he didn't receive a scholarship offer during his visit, he explained that it's possible that one could come his way soon.
"Coach Petrino told me that it's between me and a couple other guys," he said. "I think I'd fit in well there and the offense is suited well for the type of quarterback that I am."
The 2nd Team All-State selection, who threw for over 2,500 yards and 23 scores, while also rushing for an additional 220 yards and 6 scores, is confident that he'll receive good news by the end of the week.
"They told me that they would call me on Friday to tell me if I have a scholarship or not," he continued. "If they offered, I would commit."
