"We're doing it at around 9:00 a.m.," Heath told InsideTheVille.com on Tuesday evening. "Nobody knows yet and the coaches won't know until everybody else does."
Once considered a West Virginia lean, a recent heavy push by the Louisville coaching staff, as well as discussions with a few others that are headed to The 'Ville, has helped the Cardinal program draw even or possibly ahead of the Big East Conference rival.
"I grew up with (Louisville commit & teammate) Jeremy Baker, so that's playing a big role right now," explained Heath, who is also friends with two additional U of L commits, Johnny Patrick and Latarrius Thomas.
When asked if his friendships might provide an indicator of his upcoming annoucment, Heath replied, "you could say that."
However, he said that his attraction to the West Virginia defense continues to be high.
"I like the style of defense that they play up there and I think I'd fit in well with it," he continued. "I know the coaches from both schools real well too, so it's a tough decision."
Could the friendships with Louisville commits Baker, Patrick and Thomas seal the deal for Heath to the Cardinals or will Heath be a visitor when the Mountaineers visit Papa John's Cardinal Stadium next fall?
