SIGNING DAY: Cards land Godby trio

Louisville picked up three talented signees from Tallahassee (FL) Godby Wednesday morning, including athletic quarterback Emmanuel Francis.

The Louisville Cardinals racked up in the state of Florida this year, and Wednesday morning signed three talented prospects from Tallahassee Godby High School to national letters of intent.

Schools officials confirmed that Emmanuel Francis, a 6-3, 190-pound quarterback, Kareem Crowell, a 6-3, 285-pound defensive tackle, and Frank Grimes, a 6-1, 270-pound defensive tackle, made it official for Louisville.

Francis chose Louisville over Arkansas State, Cowell de-committed from Auburn to sign with the Cardinals. Grimes, an under-rated two-star prospect over West Virginia.
