Earl Clark and his East team fell 112-94 to the West in the McDonald's All-American game Wednesday night in San Diego, California.

Clark, an athletic 6-9 forward, finished with 4 points, 5 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Clark made 2-2 free throws and scored his only basket on an offensive rebound put back early in the contest. He missed all three of his three-point attempts.

"He reminds me a lot of Scotty Pippen," former NBA star and ESPN analyst Jason Williams said during the broadcast. "He's 6-9 and plays like a point-forward."

Clark will participate in the Roundball Classic next week in Chicago, where he'll team with future Louisville teammate Derrick Caracter. Clark averaged 25 points per game as a senior at Rahway (NJ) High School.

The 2007 McDonald's All-American game will be played in Louisville.
