Rocker parlays combine into offers

Albert Rocker, a 6-1, 200-pound linebacker from Sparkman (AL) High School, parlayed his performance at a recent Scout.com combine into a pair of scholarship offers, including one from Louisville. InsideTheVille.com has the latest.

Sparkman's Albert Rocker received his first scholarship offer Monday from Vanderbilt. He received his second offer the following day.

"I picked up an offer from Louisville last night," said Albert Rocker from Harvest, (Ala.). "Coach [Reggie] Johnson told me over the phone they had a scholarship offer for me, and they would send it through the mail."

"It's a really big offer. I am really going to consider going to Louisville. I will probably camp there this summer."

Coaches from Southern Illinois and Troy were at the school Wednesday to see the 6-1, 200-pound linebacker.

Rocker continues to remain open with his recruitment.
