Louisville moving up list for top Alabama OL

The Louisville coaching staff extended a scholarship to one of Alabama's top offensive line prospects, Jared Cooper, this week, and that offer has the Cardinals moving up Cooper's list of favorites

W.S. Neal's Jared Cooper is one of the top offensive lineman in the state of Alabama for 2007. Cooper picked up several new scholarship offers this week, and he names his top three schools as well as an overall favorite.

"I received four more offers this week," said Jared Cooper from Brewton, (Ala.). "I was offered Tuesday by West Point and Houston. I was offered today by Louisville and Marshall. I was excited to receive those new offers. It feels real good."

"I may take a visit up to Louisville. One of my former teammates, Marcus Fulmer, is up there. Louisville has moved up in my top three now since they offered."

"My top three is Auburn, Louisville and Georgia Tech. I would have to say Auburn is my overall favorite. I talk to coach [James] Willis a lot. He is a real great guy."

"I fell in love with Auburn when I went there for Junior Day. It's a laid back type of atmosphere. It's exactly like my hometown."

The 6-4, 285-pound lineman plans to camp at Auburn, Georgia Tech, LSU and Vanderbilt.
