Louisville-bound forward Earl Clark, a 6-9 McDonald's All-American from Rahway, N.J., had a monster game in the IS8 summer league playoffs over the weekend.'s Mike Sullivan was on hand and filed this report.

Earl Clark, a versatile guard/forward from Rahway High School in Rahway, N.J., scored 25 points, grabbed 22 rebounds, and blocked 11 shots to help the Playaz Club of New Jersey upend United Brooklyn AAU team in the IS8 playoffs held in South Jamaica, N.Y.

Clark, who has signed a letter of intent with Louisville, showed his versatility throughout the game by either playing the center position or handling point guard responsibilities for the Playaz Club.

Clark played many minutes in the pivot position. He was constantly swarmed on when he got the ball in the low post. At times, he moved out to the perimeter to get some relief for his offensive game.

Earl also played the middle of the zone for the Playaz, which had only six players on hand today for its playoff game. So Earl didn't get any rest and was the biggest player for the Playaz team.
