3-star linebacker visits Louisville

A strong outing at a Scout.com All-American combine in April helped Harvest, Alabama linebacker prospect Albert Rocker gain the attention of a number of colleges, including Louisville, who offered just days after the event.

With scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, Louisville, Purdue and Vanderbilt already in hand, as well as consistent interest from others such as Auburn, Clemson and Memphis, Harvest (Ala.) Sparkman linebacker Albert Rocker chose to visit one of the school's that noticed him early.

"He's in Louisville for an unofficial visit right now," his father told InsideTheVille.com on Monday.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Rocker recorded 82 tackles, 13 sacks, 9 pass deflections and 7 forced fumbles in 2005. He received All-Metro and All-Region honors and was named an Alabama junior all-star.

InsideTheVille.com looks forward to speaking with Albert upon his return home.
