Football Fan Day set for August 5

The University of Louisville football team will hold its annual Football Fan Day on Saturday, August 5 in the Trager Indoor Practice Facility. Pancake breakfast begin at 8:00 a.m. with autograph session to follow

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville football team will hold its annual Football Fan Day on Saturday, August 5 in the Trager Indoor Practice Facility.

The festivities begin at 8:00 a.m. with a pancake breakfast served to the first 2,000 people in Cardinal Village on the lawn of the football complex for a cost of $5.00. Head coach Bobby Petrino and the 2006 captains will briefly address the crowd at 9:00 a.m.

The rest of the team will be available to sign autographs in the Trager Center beginning at 9:15 a.m. until Media Day starts at approximately 10:00 a.m.

Free posters of the 2006 football season will be available to the fans.

The Cardinals begin practice on Friday August 4 at 3:00 p.m. Practices will be open to the fans from only August 4-7.
