"It made them become one of my top teams," Haynes said of the Cardinals offer. "Right now I'd have to say that Louisville, South Carolina and UCF are my top three."
Haynes explained that he see's a number of benefits for each school on his short list.
"Louisville is a team on the rise and I like how they use their receivers," he continued. "I like Steve Spurrier at South Carolina and how they move the ball up there. I like Coach O'Leary at UCF and I like how I could play early there. They are a team on the rise too."
A big and athletic receiver, Haynes expects to be the state's top receiver this fall.
"I want to get over 1,000 yards and 50 catches," he said. "I'm trying to set a new state record so I can go down in the record books."
With his season set to kickoff on September 1, Haynes said that he doesn't have a timeline for a possible college decision and that he's ready to focus on his senior year on the gridiron.
"I'm not really sure yet," he explained. "I'll sit down with my dad and make a decision, but I don't know when. I'm just focusing on the season now."
