Highly-rated lineman set for official visit

When Miami visits Papa John's Cardinal Stadium this weekend, Bobby Petrino and his program will host several highly regarded prospects. Wesley Saunders, a talented 6'5, 270 pound defensive lineman from North Carolina, will be in town for the Cardinals big clash against the Hurricanes. Where does Louisville stand with Saunders?

When Miami visits Papa John's Cardinal Stadium this weekend, Bobby Petrino and his program will host several highly regarded prospects.

Wesley Saunders, a 6'5, 270 pound defensive lineman/ tight end from North Carolina, will be on hand. Saunders, who has already made 26 tackles and four sacks this season, will make an official visit to Louisville this weekend. Saunders will also visit Penn State on OCtober 14 when the Nittany Lions host Michigan. North Carolina, South Carolina, Clemson and Wake Forest are also on Saunders' list.

Heading into Louisville, which will be Saunders first official visit, the talented athlete told InsideCarolina.com that he's still open in his recruitment.

"Everybody is still equal," said Saunders. "I'm wide open now until I take all of my official visits. I want to see what everybody has to offer."

No. 12 Louisville will host No. 17 Miami Saturday at 3 p.m. The game will be televised live on ABC.
