"It was a real good visit," Williams said. "I had a lot of fun and had a chance to meet with the coaches and talk to some of the players. It was real exciting. Louisville completely shut down Miami."
It was a big recruiting weekend for the Cardinals, who hosted about dozen prospects. Williams spoke with several of Louisville's recruits while in town and said the consensus was that everyone came away impressed with the Cardinals.
"Everybody really liked it," Williams said. "It was a great atmosphere and the fans were great. Everyone was just really excited."
Williams said he'll likely visit Ole Miss next month, and also might trip to South Florida and Wake Forest. The 6'4, 220 pound Fort Myers native holds offers from all four programs, but doesn't appear in a rush to reach a college decision.
"I'm still going to take all my visits, but I like Louisville a lot," Williams said.
Asked if a leader has emerged, Williams said, "It would probably be Louisville. I'll probably take an official visit to Louisville after the season is over."
