We have to do what's best for Michael and right now we don't know what's best. We don't know how his health is going to be. If the best thing is to come back and play another year, then that is what he should do. If the best thing is to go out and get drafted high right now, then that's what he needs to do. He's given everything that he has to the University of Louisville and to our football program. He probably doesn't even realize how big of an influence that he's had on our program. This is about doing what's best for Michael Bush.
On reducing turnovers
I just think we need to concentrate and focus harder. A lot of people would be satisfied with 400 yards of offense, but we're not. I expect our players that every time we take the field that we expect to score. Act like it, concentrate, focus and move the ball. We had periods the other day where we weren't as sharp as we need to be. You have one guy breaking down on different plays and that's when you get in trouble offensively. Everyone has to do their job on every play and we just weren't in sync like we normally are.
On team depth and how they've overcome multiple injuries
You just have to move on and keep going and we are very capable of doing that. We did it in the second half of the Miami game. It's just a matter of everybody focusing and other people picking it up. I think in the second half of the Miami game our offensive line really picked it up and dominated the line of scrimmage and then against Kansas State they were the guys making mistakes, so you just have to do it every week.
They are both out running - limping a little bit. They looked a little better today than they did yesterday. We're still hopeful that maybe by next Friday that one of them, or both of them, will be available. Certainly, I think they will be for the Cincinnati game.
