Kickoff set for Cardinals - Bearcats

The 46th meeting between the University of Louisville and the University of Cincinnati will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. The kickoff time for the October 14 matchup between the Cards and 'Cats is now set.

The University of Louisville-Cincinnati football game on October 14 at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium has been set for 3:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live by ESPNU.

The 8th-ranked Cardinals and head coach Bobby Petrino have won three straight in the series, including a 46-22 victory at UC's Nippert Stadium last October. U of L, which has won seven of the last eight in the rivalry, is averaging 53 points against UC under Petrino.

The Bearcats improved to 2-3 on the season this past weekend with a 24-10 victory over rival Miami of Ohio. UC opened the season with a 31-0 win over Eastern Kentucky, but then dropped games to Pittsburgh, Ohio State and Virginia Tech.
