LOUISVILLE COMMITMENT
An Alabama All-State performer while at Vestavia Hills High School in Birmingham, wide receiver Steven Black has kept his commitment to Louisville despite his growing list of options. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound receiver, who initially signed with U of L in 2005, reconfirmed his commitment to the Cardinal program in August. He is a current teammate and roommate of fellow U of L signee Demetrius Culpepper at East Mississippi Community College.

LOUISVILLE COMMITMENT
Rockcastle (Ky.) County offensive lineman Brad Durham became the first high school senior to commit to the U of L 2007 recruiting class when he to chose to become a Cardinal on August 10. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound lineman also collected scholarship offers from Baylor, Cincinnati and Kentucky. With coaches from the majority of those that had offered taking notes at the Scout.com All-American combine held in Louisville last May, Durham displayed solid techniques and dominated most of his one-on-one opportunities.

6-foot-3, 280-pound D'Angelo McCray of Jacksonville (Fla.) Jackson High School is yet another member of the Scout.com National Top 100 that is giving the 8th-ranked Louisville program a close look. A former prep teammate of current Cardinal running back George Stripling, McCray will make an official visit with Louisville for the Cardinals homecoming contest against Big East rival Cincinnati. Plays both tight end and defensive line and is a four year starter offensively.

6-foot-5, 225-pound Adrien Robinson of Indianapolis Warren Central could play either tight end or wide receiver on the college level. Robinson has helped his team climb to 7th in the USA Today High School Super 25 poll. While he still has progress to make in the classroom, Robinson collected scholarship offers from the likes of Arkansas, Indiana, Louisville, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Purdue and West Virginia. He has continually listed the Cardinals and Mountaineers as his favorites.

North Carolina Top 10 Prospect

Due to his ability to excel at either tight end or along the defensive line, Durham (NC) Riverside's Weslye Saunders has long had the attention of dozens of college coaches. An All-Region and All-Conference performer as a junior, Saunders hopes to have the opportunity to play on the offensive side of the ball in college and was impressed by the involvement of the tight end in the U of L offense during his official visit last month. Clemson, Penn State, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wake Forest are among the others still under consideration.
