Big East Battle for Williams' Final Visit

Louisville is battling two other Big East programs for Four-Star running back Bo Williams' final official visit. Williams has already made two official visits, and has two others scheduled. What Big East programs are in the mix with Williams? What are Louisville's chances for getting Williams on campus?

Three Big East programs appear to be waging a heated battle for Bo Williams' final official visit.

Williams, a four-star running back from Northeast High School in Oakland Park, Florida, was slated to visit Pittsburgh the first week of December. According to Williams' high school coach, Adam Rachovich, his star is re-thinking that trip to the Steel City.

"I think he might not take that trip to Pitt," Rachovich said Tuesday morning. "They've already got a commitment from Xavier Stinson who is one of the top backs in Florida. It's not that Bo is afraid to compete with him, but it's given him second thoughts about Pittsburgh."

Williams has already taken official visits to Nebraska and NC State. He'll also make official visits to Florida State and Florida. That leaves Louisville battling Pittsburgh and West Virginia for Williams' final official visit.

"Louisville's done a really good job recruiting him," Rachovich said. "He's got offers from the Pac 10 and SEC and he's told a lot of those schools no already. If he doesn't go to Pitt, he'll visit either Louisville or West Virginia, with Louisville leading."

Williams made an unofficial visit to Florida for the Gators win over LSU last weekend and came away impressed with the Swamp.

"He's going to make an official visit to Florida," Rachovich said. "He went up there with Jimmy Maitland over the weekend and they both loved it. When he came back from that trip he said he wasn't sure he wanted to trip to Pitt. So we'll see how things work out."
