Wesley Saunders Changes Visit Plans

Wesley Saunders, a four-star defensive end from North Carolina, was scheduled to make an official visit to Big Ten country this weekend. However, the 6'4,270-pound standout has had a change of plans.

Durham, N.C. tight end/defensive end Wesley Saunders has cancelled his official visit to Penn State this weekend according to his father.

"Wes was supposed to visit Penn State for the Michigan game this weekend but he had to reschedule," Saunders' father said. "Wes has not received his SAT scores yet and Penn State requires them to be in before his official visit so we will be visiting at a later date when the scores come in."

Saunders has remained wide open in his recruitment so far, considering offers from Penn State, South Carolina, North Carolina, North Carolina State, and Louisville among others.

Last year Saunders earned all-region and all-conference honors as a junior after recording 20 catches for 308 yards and six touchdowns at tight end, and 52 tackles, four sacks, 14 tackles for a loss and two forced fumbles at defensive end.
